Mortgages for 3 people

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could tell me if any lendors still consider 3 people working full time for a mortgage?

I remember that HSBC use to do something like this for first time buyers but wondered if this was still available.

We are not first time buyers.

Thanks

P.S We are all working full time in perm jobs.

I think most lenders will allow up to four borrowers.

Often they only take the two highest incomes into account though

that will be a shame as the whole point of us having 3 people on the mortgage is that we will all be contributing and will count on all our income to jump onto the ladder

Other lenders can be more flexible/generous in terms multiples offered to the three parties involved.

  • I am part of a 3 person mortgage, we have never had any problems and have recently remortgaged from Abbey to Nationwide.

They take the two highest earnings as the multiples and the lowest salary once.

    Hope that helps!

have spoken to Nationwide and they have said that they will only take the 2 highest incomes and not include the 3rd income even though they would go on the mortgage??

It sounds like you would benefit from the help of a broker

As they would be able to find a lender to suit your needs based on the incomes available.
