Gosh, lots of negative comments on here about the 3-pack of Sloggi knickers - I'm going to put something nice, to even things up!

I adore Sloggi products, wear lots of their undies, but there is one thing about them. They are an international brand, and (like other German-based clothing, like Mexx) they do not indulge in vanity sizing.

Vanity sizing goes on a lot in British shops - though they don't admit it! It's where they call something a "size 10" and really, it's at least a size 12. Vanity sizing keeps customers happy ('ooh look, I got into a size smaller than I thought I would need) - but it does get ridiculous.

To get back to the knickers! I ordered these in 'Small', and they fit me. I understand what people are saying about there not seeming to be much fabric on the bum side - but they are actually no more skimpy than most knickers. I think what people may be experiencing is that the leg elastic is not particularly firm, and hence the leg part is not 'anchoring' very well!

I shall wear mine, for the price I am very happy with them. But I knew what to expect - the 'fun' range of Sloggis, outside of their basic white or black 'sensible' underwear, is aimed at a very young market - teens and twenties - and usually, they don't need to worry about sagging botties!

I also ordered the Triumph pinstripe 'Body Shaper' lingerie, matching bra and briefs, and am very, very happy with it. The product is much nicer in real life than the pictures - the pinstriping is in gold and is embroidered on, so it is raised above the rest of the garment and produces a nice texture.

Both bra and briefs have a small gold 'charm' sewn onto them, in the shape of the Triumph logo. And the straps to the bra are embroidered again in the gold thread, which is picked up again in gold piping on the briefs. Classy!

The only problem I have is (being a bit of a slim Jim), not quite enough in the boobage dept for the cup size! But that's my problem, not the lingerie manufacturer! :rotfl:

I got a really nice matching lingerie set and three pairs of 'fun' knickers, all excellent brands, for £6 -something, so I am a very satisfied customer. Good post, OP!

Hmmm, i know what you mean by vanity sizing. I am a 10 and bought the M. It's not the size I am objecting to, it's the fabric, style and quality!
