Daily Mail Train Travel Vouchers

Hi All,

I really need to get hold of some train travel vouchers which were printed in the Daily Mail last month.

We had some but we threw the papers away without cutting out the vouchers.

I now have train tickets without the vouchers and don't want to get caught out for the full fare.

Also does anyone know if you can use these vouchers more than once?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated

Thanks

  • Try posting in the I Wanna board, I did a few weeks ago and got enough vouchers for a trip, iut says on there that the train manager will need to see the tokens, but they didn't ask for them on the way there or on the way back so I've still got them, would have let you have them but going to use them again for a trip at the end of next month. Best of luck!

Hi Cheapchick ~ We travelled using our vouchers last week and no-one asked to even see them. I have booked more tickets for another trip next month too. I wouldn't be too concerned about the vouchers ~ the tickets don't specify the Daily Mail offer and there are always offers on so I doubt the ticket collector knows even what to ask for!

  • But I wouldn't take the risk, if they cath you and you have to pay it'll either be £120 for standard or £150 for first class

Why dont you contact the daily mail and ask if you can buy back issues of the papers you need
  • You could try rooting around in recycling skips for copies of the paper.
  • I got a back copy of the daily mail for £2 (I needed one token) - you can go the website - and they give you a telephone number and you have to send a cheque
  • I need one token (any date other than 12Feb08) please can anyone help?
