Getting back in the black!

This web-site has encouraged me over the last couple of months to take back control of bank account. Month after month I've been paid only to be still overdrawn. I've followed a few tips and swopped a few bills but felt it important to pass on my main contributing saving tip. Its not difficult and probably makes a hell of a lot of sense to most of you but what I did back in January was to close my current account which gives me the freedom of an overdraft with plastic and revert back to a passbook account with my local building society (with no plastic card). I now have to budget each week and withdraw physical cash from my account/bank branch. This may sound impossible and is certainly restricting but it works. I not long buy because I can, I keep a diary and see what's approaching over the next week and make sure that my visit to the bank allows and the end of the day if you haven't got it on you, you can't spend it!
I have done this for 1 month and have turned my constant overdraft into a creditted account for the first time in years. You may have more debt than me so it may take a little longer but give it a go and good luck!
