I want to send an Amazon voucher to Italy

Hi,
If my B_I_L lives in Italy and I want to send him an Amazon voucher to use, should I use the French Amazon so I can send him Euros (the uk one just seems to do GBP) or the german one. Do they deliver free to Italy from their sites? I'm trying to avoid him having to pay postage if possible.
