Chewin The Fat DVD Box Set

Chewin the fat box dvd sets are £10 at FOPP in Glasgow. 4 dvd's for a tenner now that is a bargain.

Do you know if it is all the Fopp Shops? If not which one did you get it from. My teenage sons find this show so funny they would love the boxset.

what is FOPP? Would love to get this for Scottish boyf who is continually moaning that he can't watch this on English tv
  • FOPP is a cheap outlet for books, DVD's, video's and CD's.
As far as i am aware there is a massive advertising campaign for these dvd's all the adverts list the FOPP at Byers Road and Union Street in Glasgow. I really dont know about anywhere else - I even looked on their website https://www.fopp.co.uk but couldn't even see these dvds. I bought the box set (3 series and live at kings theatre last year and paid £5 each for them).

Sent the missus on a mission to Union Street tonight.....

Instructions dvd or managers head.....lol :)
  • Don't suppose there are any of the Fopp shops in Edinburgh are there?
  • There are Edinburghlass! There's one in Cockburn Street and another big one in Rose Street with its own pub close to Sainsbury's Central!

Oh dear! The software on this site won't let me state the correct name for the street! For ease, it's the street where there's a collection of piercing and tattoo outlets and it's a favourite haunt of goths! If that doesn't help you it's the street that you land-up in if you venture out from Argos in North Bridge, walk over the other side of the road and go through North Bridge Arcade!

  • Further to my previous post, I'm having a hoot at the site picking-up what it sees as an 'inappropriate' word that is, in fact, part of a valid Edinburgh address! It's rather apt that we're talking about a comedy series in this thread as well!!!!
