Re-can the bailiffs come in against my will
Comments

Hi,
They will have to go back to court where you will be issued with a notice of warrant of execution. I received one of these at the begining of Feb asking me to pay x amount. I emailed the court and advised them of my situation, I have no money, am on benefits, am waiting to go br but can't get the fees together so I am waiting for DRo to come into force in April. They replied advising me to dl & fill out an N245 & EX160. Which I'm about to do.
So that may by you a bit of time.

Hi all,
I need this clarified.
Basicly i was taken to court for non payment on a kitchen, had a ccj against me and ignored it.
When i was in town one day, had a phone call from bailiffs at my door, they had the number from my van outside.
i then phoned the DRC who said i must pay £250 per month, feeling under pressure i agreed.
Now i cant pay it any more had a phone call from DRC on thurs I told them I could only pay £10 which they declined, they then said they will sent round hight court inforcement ie the bailiffs, I then said you better send an army of them round then.
The question is can they force their way in:eek:
Hi all, some of you may remember the above post, well i've had another phone call from them (the DCA today).
This time asking for the balance which is £1200, i told them again, as i did last month that i could only afford £10 as i'm on the sick since coming out of hospital, and i'm self employed.
She said that the clients (the kitchen company) would not accept that offer.
She then said that she would advize them to petition for my BR.
Question is, is she bluffing. Now then if she's not bluffing and they do petition for my BR, how will that differ from myself doing it, is there a different set of rules.
Many thanks to anyone how could help
mike

Can my creditors make me Bankrupt? (taken from cccs website)
- Yes. If you owe a creditor over £750 then they can petition for your Bankruptcy.
- Before making you Bankrupt a creditor would have to issue you with a Statutory Demand.
- Making you Bankrupt is likely to cost a creditor around £1500.
- The courts would have to approve the petition just as they would if you petitioned for your own Bankruptcy.
A call to CCCS / NDL may be the best way of getting your best course of action.0 -
Thanks for that nigella, so you think they are probably bluffing then?
