there was a page on the hotel TV channel that said if you wanted heating there was a button underneath the TV or next to the phone which when pressed heated for 2 hours. I never saw a button to press - not that one was needed!

I saw the botton which said 'on' but not 'off'. Assumed that was the window option!
I didn't actually turn the tv on to see info channel. I had entertainment from next door!

oh and I got a shock when I checked my phone in the early hours of this morning when we got back to the hotel and there were 64 blank texts to my friend in my drafts folder _pale_ In my inbox was a message from here saying 'are you ok? I have had 4 blank messages from you' but when Ireplied to her, I was out of credit - goodness knows how but something was being leant on and it started sending blank texts until I ran out of credit (luckily only 4!) and then stored the other 64 in my drafts folder!! :rotfl:

ooooo. Norty Son-in-law is now NOT SIL?

I saw it coming and spoke to daughter on Friday. They are still very happy and right together but she just wasn't excited about the wedding at all. She has always wanted to get married quietly on a beach but had got swept into a traditional wedding to accomodate other people. Plus the expense was worrying her. She just wants to be with him in France and marry in their own style. I am totally comfortable about it (may shed a tear later).
A few things to sort out obviously. Anybody need a wedding dress? :rotfl:

Ahhh, Well sounds a good choice for them, and ultimately a marriage is the 2 of them together isnt it....

I'd love to get married again *sigh* It's our 10 year anniversary this year and I'll be in Canada whilst DH is here with KIDS!

  • Hello , Brave of your daughter Bookie, my friend had a massive wedding thing and hated every minute of it, really started the marriage badly(debt) and stressed them both out. Good for her!
    Nevertheless she persisted.
