Bookie was fine, a lovely lady and she fit right in.
It was difficult to get round and speak to everyone individually as there were 20 of us there, the biggest meet yet!
I hope she enjoyed herself!

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Hopefully whoever took em doesnt know how to get em on here :rotfl:
Yeah, you keep telling yourself that! :rotfl:

I thought I was hungry until I had a few mouth fulls of duck pancakes but it was really salty so I didn't have any more.
then some of the group intended to go to the Retro bar but it was pretty terrible music wise and looked very studenty!
Sammy was nearly in a fight but the other woman said she couldn't because she had her heels on!
go figure.
So we went back to the hotel bar for a drink, Buffy & I were falling asleep so we went off to bed.
The rooms were pretty small but comfy.
A great time was had by all!

You need to ask Bookie about that when she gets here

Hi everybody.
Sorry I couldn't make it up to the meet. Unfortunately I had to work (in fact I'm "working" now).
So was it fun it Manchester-shire?0 -

Well we did half-heartedly offer to rape Lenny in the lift this morning but I think we were all a bit tired!

This is the first I've heard of it (not been on here in a while), but I should think so.bank_of_slate wrote: »It was a good meet Ste, the biggest yet!
