I didn't get time to post yesterday but wanted to update you all. I have been low as have not seen LO for three weeks and no idea when any of us will, but her school arranged for me to go and meet her teacher. My best friend took me as I don't go out alone, and although LO is still at the top of the class she is distressed at school and they are concerned for her and are taking lots of steps to give her space to talk to staff about what is going on for her. They made it clear they support me and are ready to report to the authorities should LO reveal any DV to them.

It is terrible that I went to bed praying last night for ex to beat his wife again, but I just need LO to get back home safely to us and if it means we get that and can keep her safe then I don't care. All our kids deserve to have their family back. My only concern is that LO being a smart poppet will feel she has been punished for telling once, so may not tell again. Please keep her in your prayers and thoughts.

It feels good to know she has caring and supportive women around her and gave me a real lift yesterday. What with the XBox the day before, I think the Happy Happy Joy Joy mantra has definitely worked for me this week. :A

Well hello, how is everyone on this Friday 13th! Im hoping its going to be a lucky day for me today as not won a bean this month and im being driven insane by the Wild Bean Comp to the point I think im obsessed, over 100 referrals and no win for me or anyone ive referred, I even started checking what times people were winning to see if it was a timing thing but sure enough after playing again this morning nothing lol! On a brighter note, im off to see Marley and Me this weekend using the Cokezone tickets I won early Feb, looks good in the ads. Wishing you all a lucky friday 13th x

stay strong - if the school have noticed that she's distressed at least it's more 'weight' on your side - is it also being documented somewhere by them.... . It does sound also as if they are more likely to listen/pick up if LO says something and act on it which is all to the good.

Wish there was something else we could do - you'd have though with all the latest Social Services hoohaa they'd be looking closely into your Ex's home situation - didn't you say he and his current wife have a baby/young child.....

Essexgal, every time we see the news coverage it raises our hopes. Yes, they have a nine month old baby, the mum is so young and speaks very little english. We all think, "It's not rocket science", foreign internet bride, small child making serious allegations, ex-wife left with nothing even though they were millionaires! Just at this time no-one seems willing to put the pieces of the puzzle together, scared of his money and power tbh, as well as a lack of resources and training on their part.
