If they try saying I have to pay another £600 cash there is no way we can do it DH has booked those weeks off work now & can't change them & with DD changing school's soon the dates there can't be changed either (the school she's at not is being knocked down & new one ready to move into with a different head, who I know, in November!) I guess I just have to wait for my vouchers to come then phone Virgin to sort it out - please pray they don't say we need to pay all that extra.

if the worst comes to the worst, Tesco will take the vouchers back and exchange for Cosmos. Do you want to PM me the details and let me try for you? Cosmos are flippen brilliant on the phone, they even have a dedicated Tesco deals option when you ring. One thing that may work in your favour, stay with me here lol, when I phoned ahead to check my price, i could have booked it then and put the deposit on my CC the young lady said that that would hold the holiday then once the vouchers arrived I could send them all and they would refund the deposit to my card, I know this works as we did it two years ago and got the deposit refunded no hassle. Any way, what i am thinking is you can say that the £500 odd you are paying is for the things you can't use vouchers for and the rest is in vouchers, I hope that makes sense lol xx

I will PM you the details to see if you can get me Cosmos quote, Virgin say I have to have posted the vouchers within 3 working days otherwise I lose the booking (and deposit!!!) so I don't want to 'book' properly until the vouchers are here ITMS.

Blimey they sound scarey, it's the same rule with Cosmos but they say don't worry it wont happen really lol. You will need to send vouchers special delivery anyway so it will be next day delivery
