Hi all, long time lurker but 1st time poster. I'm after some advice - I luckily won an HDTV, a PS3 and 4 TV box sets (Prison Break, 24, The Unit and Bones) all in the one competition. TV & PS3 received yesterday, box sets sent seperately and received today except it was only 24 & Prison Break - in the place of The Unit and Bones was the X-men Trilogy. My quandry is should I chase up the missing 2 box sets or just be grateful with what I have? (I am a bit of a TV addict and Bones is one of my fav. shows but I realise I have been lucky).

    Thanks all. :A

Hi Chyna, welcome to the Inn and congrats on a fabulous win :T

I think I would definitely enquire about it with the promoter, just politely ask if the x-men was a replacement and if you are to expect the other sets. Can't do any harm, I would probably word it so that I was thanking profusely for the prize but "just wondering" lol
That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free ;)

  • JUst mircrowaved a bowl of my sausage casserole that was slow-coked yesterday; much nicer tonight; thicker and less acidic. So good.

My next venture is home-made chicken chasseur using some red wine I bought which is a bit off, and some chicken thighs I have in the freezer, along with potatoes, parsnips and some spring onions. :D
