does anyone know if paper mache is made out of paper and wallpaper paste or paper and pva glue?

which is the best? or is there only one way to find out..................FIGHT!!!

this is for a school project for little miss divadee xxxx

I'm back again OH went to the chippy for tea :T He's all happy as he's been offered a permanent job at the warehouse thing he did a trial for this week so could quit the window selling one today so was home early, he's gone out to celebrate with his mates now so I get the house to myself :T

So many comps to catch up on :eek: better make a start! xx

I found this site after writing my "list of things to do before I die" - one of my things was to win a prize! I lurked for a while but then got into it more. Now I can't stay away - OH reckons I have an unhealthy addiction - but then still used some of my lush comforter this evening in his bath!!! :rotfl:

paper and pva works best I find, or if your poor then paper and flour/water mix

u cant use wallpaper paste anymore for papermache some cellulose in the paste causing issues, people use waterered down pva nowadays xxx

Paper Mache is strips of newspaper say over a balloon with PVA Glue,you could use strips of wallpaper,what is Miss Divadee doing? sounds interesting,I am sure if my information is wrong someone can correct it,thank you.

I had been on this site for a while but never bothered with comps board, well maybe did 1 comp every 3 months then wondered why i never won:rotfl::rotfl:

it was actually catowen who introduced me to this lovely part of mse and have never looked back since, i never look at the other parts of mse now, well hardly ever:rolleyes:
