ur ds has 4 injections a day?
jeez.... i moan when im on ivf jabs, ur lil man is very brave xxx

yeah 4 a day, he doesnt complain though and is totally used to it now, way of life and all that, he does the injections himself bar the night time one which i do as he has to get it in his butt! diff insulin so cant inject in same place as the day time ones

a lot of people are unaware of type 1 but that is cause the media always concentrate on type 2 but that seems to be slowly changing now, justin webb did a great article the other day about his son who was diagnosed in dec, he is a bbc news correspondant if i remember right so will be good to have him on side

    sorry waffling a bit there:rotfl:

Evening - just a flyer before I head off to my bed.

Hope everyone has behaved themselves beautifully this evening (no names mentioned...Al) :p:D

Just had catastrophic news!! Have a gum infection so dentist has put me on antibiotics that they use to stop alcoholics drinking!!! What is up with that?? :o

I can't even so much as take a swig of mouthwash cos it's got a tiny bit of alcohol in it - so I can't even take a sneaky peek of vodka!!!

7 days without any alcohol???!! My life is over!!!  :rotfl: :rotfl:
The Rock Chick, she say 'courtesy costs nowt' - spread the word! :D

PPD My Pa in law wouldn't keep to advised diet, regular meals etc, wondered why it couldnt be controlled. Never followed medical advice, went his own way. injected arms, legs, buttocks etc cos skin like leather in the end injecting. So many hypos, worried everyone but himself. Was19 when seriously injecting and died at 58. I'm sure he would have lived longer if he'd been sensible.
Hugs for littlun. Prayers that research soon finds an easier way for children to deal with medicating diabetes. xxxxxxxx
