I had some stubborn scuffs on our backdoor, you know how the white pvc or whatever it is they make double glazed doors out of gets really grubby.
I used a microfibre cloth and some concentrated Stardrops and it looks like new now.0 -
same for me! i used vinegar on the glass and very diluted stardrops on the upvc and it sparkled!! (need sophiesmums sparkle thingy here!).
the odd thing is that it has stayed clean. when i use 'bought cleaners' then you need to wipe again the next week but even with everyone in and out of the house it seems to stay looking clean!

Well I only tried Stardrops and the cloth on ours today so hopefully it will stay as clean as yours.0 -
*waves hand* I cant resist!
I havent seen stardrops anywhere to try it, I just use diluted disinfectant on pretty much everything, as thats whats in my sprayer thing. Or I will use diluted washing up liquid. Or I use neat bleach on mould. All things get the microfibre cloth treatment though, I must have about a million of them now- I put them on the end of my vileda mop thing, too.''A moment's thinking is an hour in words.'' -Thomas Hood0 -

well... oh who does not do any cleaning at all! thinks that the expensive stuff you buy leaves a 'polisy' residue that 'collects' more dirt. not sure if i believe him or not!it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:0 -
:rotfl: me. And, I tried one on my friends telly that was really filthy and just used water. It just didn't cut the mustard and I am going to have to go back with stardrops. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.0

maybe they clean anything as long as it is not too dirty!! just like a normal cloth with water? good for someone who dusts / cleans daily
sorry being cynical (sp) here but it is true that if you wipe oil splashes, soapy residue etc off straight away then any dry cloth / flannel will work... then you put it in the wash and it is 'as good as new!'it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:0 -
for me its micro cloth stardrops and viniger - still cheaper than branded cleaners and just as effective.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0
