Ok here’s an absolute amazing deal and will surely sell out fast so don’t hang around!
I’ve just stayed for 2 nights for 2 people in the queensferry hotel (overlooking forth road bridge) which joins Fife and the capital Edinburgh for just £57.00 and a possible 10 % via quidco!!! ((£5.70)
NOTE THE SAME DATES ON THE HOTELS OWN WEBSITE IS £156.00!!! EG
The Queensferry Hotel - Select Packages
Arrival Date Monday, March 02, 2009 Number of Adults in one Room 2
Departure Date Wednesday, March 04, 2009 Children 0
Room Standard Double Bedded Room with En-suite £156.00
SEE HERE

I’ve not included quidco in the price but if you do get quidco this makes this deal an absolute steal! As it would take another £5.70 off so basically a possible of only £50 for 2 NIGHTS FOR 2 PEOPLE WITH BREAKFAST! NOTE use promotion code 901660 to get 10 % off and so make the price £57 instead of £61
The breakfast is a buffet style – yes all the works – full Scottish breakfast, plus cereals, juice, pastries, yoghurts, fruit salad and so on. I sat in a table near the window and got an awesome view of the forth road bridge.
I didn’t eat in the restaurant at night but they have tables which give an awesome view of the forth road bridge.
Note this seems to be a 2 days for the price of 1 promotion and as far as I can see it’s only valid mon to thurs in march 09.
NOTE if you want to stay four nights you must make 2 separate bookings.
NOTE other sites have the same deal eg gtahotels at £31 a night, travelrepublic £31.48 etc but with the 10 % off 31.50 at hotelopia and a possible 12 % quidco it makes it a better deal.

I’ve grouped together a few points I forget to mention which people have raised :
· only 19 minutes into edinburgh from north queensferry by train. (costs £4.60 for an off peak return
[also note if you do add on a Friday stay and travel into Edinburgh on a weekend kids travel free anywhere in Scotland with adults – remember to ask for it
