Its really up to you what you count fedup. If you went to Wilko to get it rather than Boots I don't see why you shouldn't. Try and make it accurate though counting your exact savings as £100 does seem quite a lot for one months haircare stuff. You must have a lot of hair

Thanks Jesa! No I don't have that much hair! I just stocked up on about a years worth of styling products that will last a bit longer than that while at a bargain price. I then worked out how much the cost would have been in Boots for the same. I am doing to 100 day challenge to change my spending habits on this kind of stuff hence the change to lower priced bargains from top priced stuff on shopping tv

Anyway only another 10p to add today from a free scratchie.

Will post total tomorrow in large red numbers!

    Wilko's £46.50
    Boots £146.50
final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333

Well done fedup thats great, I get lots of mine from Poundland for the same reason. Boots is stupidly overpriced. My regular deodorant is over £2.60 from Boots and I can get it from Poundland so i stock up too
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • Hi all, not posted on here for a while, but have been keeping up, honest!!

    65p in asda on salad.
    total....£3.64!! :o

Have also decided to definitly add the £540 reclaim as i worked to get it so my first make £5 a day challenge total is £787.51 out of £155 so i am very pleased.
Even without £540 reclaim i still have made £247.51 so am extra chuffed.

For the first time I've missed my total, £135.23 in actual savings, I wont count the car as a saving until next month when the old car insurance and road tax are due. :money:

*Just realised that I filled the old one up last week so I need to sell it to get back the cost of the fuel, lol. Anyone want a cheap car? :p

  • My final total is £253.49 / £155 and im still waiting on lots of money from cheques, ebay, amazon etc to clear in my bank - that will give me a nice big head start for april, so...... im going to be brave and go for £10 a day! Might have to do better on the NSD and gym days next month though!

Well done everyone :T and good luck for next month! :D
