well i got a cheque through the post this mornign from teh inland revenue for unclaimed childrens tax allowance thingy, i wasn't going to count it but since the point of me doing this challenge is to make money to pay off debts then i am counting a portion of it, we are using £200 for a treat for us and the kids and the other £400 is going to paying off some debts
  • Billybobberyl - thats FAB news, well done! I would add it to your challenge total for defo - it's still money you've made, you wouldn't have got it back if you hadn't fought for it! Enjoy spending it (or saving or paying debts, whichever you're doing!)

Just to let you know that Consumer Pulse have sent me a monthly email today and they are looking for panellists. You can register online.

    www.volunteer4panels.com

All you do is enter your shopping - clothes, dvds etc, mobile phones, beauty treatments. You get 500 points each time you log in to enter your shopping even if you havent bought anything, then you get 500 points for each item of shopping. You can soon rack up 10000 points which is enough to convert into a voucher.

    HTH

Thanks for that Horace...I really want to join consumer pulse! Bit annoyed though if they are saying they want new members, as I signed up a couple of months ago through that volunteer4panels thing but haven't heard anything, hmph! Wonder if its worth signing up again?

Got £20 given to me by my lovely nanna today! I had a pizza mystery shop, so took her along with me as she loves their pizzas. She insisted on giving me £20 to pay (even though I told her about a million times that it was free, as the MS company would reimburse me) - but she was having none of it, bless her. So that was nice, we went for a drive afterwards too and had a lovely afternoon! Oh and Onepoll 15p.

Had quite a productive morning too - signed up to Lovefim and Equifax free trials to get the cashback; Equifax has tracked already, still waiting for Lovefilm. Just need to remember to cancel them before the free trial ends. Also currently on hold on the phone trying to transfer my Feb challenge money to my savings account. Losing the will to live with flamin’ A+L customer services though… I signed up to their current account to get the £100 incentive they are offering but there isn’t an A+L branch where I live and I hate their online banking, so I have to do everything on the phone. It will probably cost me £100 in premium rate helpline calls by the time I get it! Lol. Oh well. There’s a nice bank mystery shop available near me that I really want to accept too - it’s not a bad fee for the time it will take - but I can’t, as it’s my own branch where I have an account. They say you can use a false name if you want, but I go in there all the time so don’t think I’ll be able to do it. Oh well, I’ll leave it for someone else!

That was an essay wasn’t it :rotfl:
