Hot air Styler recommendations

I recently cut my shoulder length hair short and am finding my straighteners are really difficult to use on short hair..
I would like to buy a hot air styler that will straighten out my curly hair as it dries but that also has a ceramic straightening attachement if I want it really straight... the one I have is just too wide and I burnt my head trying to get my now short hair into the straightener... I thought having the hot air styler would allow me to straighten it much easier and finish off with the straightener... but I have looked at loads and just can't decide which would be best there are some really cheapo ones but I am guessing the straighteners wouldn't be that good.. the ones I have are GHD and excellent... I don't mind the price too much... thanks
