Superdrug: Herbal Essences £8.17 Worth of Shampoo/Conditioner for £2.89

Just been to my local Superdrug where they are advertising a BOGOF for Herbal Essences shampoo/conditioner. Basically, if you buy the "old style" shampoo bottle (400ml) for £2.89 you get the "new style" bottle (either shampoo or conditioner, 400ml, worth £3.29) free. But, even better than that, the old style bottles also have a free 200ml freebie bottle of conditioner (£1.99) attached to them .... which means that for an outlay of £2.89 you get £8.17 worth of haircare... :j

Hope there's some left!!! I had to get the assistant to check it was for real before I headed back to the aisle and pretty much cleared them out!! Word of advice for anyone who manages to grab some .... don't try and pull the sticky sellotape off, cut the bottle apart instead ....otherwise the bottles will be incredibly sticky!0

wouldnt it be better to get and "old" shampoo, get a small new one attached to that for free and another large "old" one with a small new one attached to that for free because of bogof? or maybe not?0

The offer stated that you had to buy an "old" style bottle to get the "new" style bottle free. Sadly, it seems with the newer style bottles that the price has gone up by 30p.0

Worth mentioning that Herbal Essences test on animals... http://www.hurtfulessences.org/0

So are the new bottles 40p more for exactly the same amount of the old ones? That's a bit cheeky! Still this is a good offer on at the moment, just puts me off buying it once it's over.0

hi, i work in s/drug and yes, you have to get a new bottle as thats the offer.
the old bottles with the freebie attatched will not be available in all stores as they are from before xmas so its basically if the store has any left- my store has 6 bottles of 1 variant left, for example.0
