Post Office Mortgage

Hi all,
I’m hoping for a little help here. I applied for a MIP from the Post Office which was accepted. I have since put in an offer on a house and have had this offer accepted. I’ve today gone onto the PO website to fill in the information missing (e.g. the house and EA address) but in the top it says this offer will be pulled as from the 3rd March.
If we apply for the mortgage properly today, can the PO pull our offer and any point? I don’t want to mess the vendors around.

Hi - we were nearly in the same boat as you. I phone the Post Office yesterday and they said they were actually pulling products today so you may want to check that (but if it says 3 March on the website I would expect they would have to honour it).
They told me that the rate will not be secure until you have paid the Valuation Fee.0 -
Also - could yo usend me a link where it mentions 3 March so i have it as evidence if needed!!
Thanks0 -
Hi Olbigead,
I to phone the PO and they said to me that once the Valuation fee was paid they would honour the mortgage. The info where I read this 3rd of March part was on the top of the final application.
Quoted below.
The product selected is shortly to be withdrawn. In order to book this product your full application must be submitted on or before 03 March 2009. Once the product is withdrawn, if you wish to proceed you will need to select a new product before you can submit this application.</SPAN>0
