First Time Buyer help!

Afternoon,

While looking on moneysupermarket.com for mortgages I found that local Building societies such as Cambridge BS, and Bradford BS, came out with the best rates/deals for what I was looking for (2 year fixed rate, 85% LTV).

I live in Cheshire so am i excluded from going to one of these Building Societies (that aren't local) to get a mortgage? Or shall i just go with one of the more national mortgage companies?

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Just to clarify the above Building Societies i mentioned dont have branches in anywhere except their named area -not suprisingly.

Some of the BS will only lend in the immediate vicinity

So you will need to contact them to find out in you fall within the catchment area for their lending.

Otherwise you will have to look at different lender I'm afriad
