Debt Management plan

Hi, I'm a bit new to all this. Basically, I've just bitten the bullet and taken the first steps to setting up a debt management plan to get rid of all my debts and get my creditors off my back. It was very scary but the woman on the phone was lovely, and I finally feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am determined that this time things are going to get better and I may actually manage to get to a state where I can have a relatively healthy financial status. I'm so relieved to finally have admitted how bad things had got.

:T well done you! You have taken the first and hardest step of admitting to problems and are dealing with them - things can only get better from this point
I hope you have picked a no-fee company like Payplan or CCCS though:A kimmi_b0 -

Hopefully you have spoken to one of the debt charities listed here http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/debt-help-plan#help or to Payplan.
if not, how much of your payment is going in fees and how many of the first months' fees are set up costs?
If you wuse a debt charitiy there are no fees to pay and your debt gets paid off faster. The person who has not made a mistake, has made nothing0
