- Information on how to enter, conditions for redemption and use of the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. By redeeming this prize, the winner accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- Entry into the draw is by correctly answering the three competition questions.
- The prize includes:
- two return economy class flights from London to Calgary inclusive of tax
- Seven days medium sized car rental with Holiday Autos, collected from and returned to the Calgary Airport depot, including airport surcharges, collision damage waiver (cdw), supplementary liability insurance, theft waiver, third party liability insurance, theft protection (tp), unlimited mileage depending on vehicle and loss damage waiver (ldw)
- A total of seven nights’ twin or double share accommodation on a room only basis in 3 or 4* hotels in the following destinations: 2 nights in Calgary, 2 nights in Banff, 2 nights in Jasper, 1 night in Lake Louise but not necessarily in that order
- The winner and nominated companion must travel together.
- The prize must be booked via ASDA Travel at least 4 weeks in advance and is subject to availability. Further advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment due to reduced availability of dates. Travel must be taken during 1 September 2009 – 31st October 2009, subject to availability of contracted fare classes. Please note, weather conditions, particularly in the latter part of October may prevail some routes being open for driving.
- The competition will close at midnight on the 17th April 2009.
- The drawing of the prize will take place within 21 days of the competition close date.
- The winner is to be notified by email within 7 days of the drawing of the prize.
- Entrants must be 21 years of age or over. Only one entry may be made per person and is only open to residents of the UK.
- For the use of the car rental, the winner or companion must be at least 25 years of age and have held a clean driver’s license that is valid for use in Alberta, Canada for at least one year. If those requirements are not met, the car rental cannot be utilised and the winner and the companion must make their own transportation arrangements.
- The prize is strictly subject to availability and is non-transferable, non-changeable and non-exchangeable for equivalent cash value.
- Any alternative travel arrangements made by the winner would be at the winner's expense.
- The winner is solely responsible for travel to and from the UK airport, and any other travel outside the prize holiday. The winner and their guest(s) are also responsible for any medical insurance, plus all other expenses including meals, refreshments, spending money, national park entrance fees, optional activities in Alberta, fuel, snow chains, car hire top-up insurance, taxes and any other incidental expenses.
- Transfer to onwards destinations is not the responsibility of the promoter.
- The promoter is not responsible for any delay or cancellation of any element of the prize or for any inability of the prize winner or their guest to take up the prize.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the partners in this promotion accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury caused by, or to, the prize winner or their guest whilst taking the prize.
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
- The winner may be required to participate in publicity arising from the award of the prize.
- If the winner cannot be located within 28 days of the drawing of the prize, then the runner-up from the draw will be selected as the new winner.
- Events may occur that render the prize draw itself, or the awarding of the prize impossible, due to reasons beyond the control of the promoter and accordingly, the promoter may, at its absolute discretion, vary, or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the promoter as a result thereof.
- The draw is not open to employees, agents, contractors of P&P Associates, Travel Alberta, ASDA, their families or anyone professionally connected with the prize draw.
- Neither the Promoter nor ASDA Travel are responsible for incorrect e-mail or postal addresses or for problems with entries caused by any factors outside their control.
