A little bit of perspective
One of Britains biggest banks was effectively nationalised yesterday (Govt ownership to go to 95%)
The Govt invested another 15Bn quid in a hugely loss making business - real money
The Govt took on liabilities of 325Bn quid of dodgy 'assets' - really real money
Oh and some guy got an extra £8m in his pension pot.
Well I know which is the main news story this morning...the one that the Govt thinks will play best so cement the story that it is all the bankers fault...and all the mainstream press has gone with it.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
