  • Or not, it's a truly abysmal game (http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/wii/starwarstheclonewarslightsaberduels). Props on the find but there are far better games on the wii out there, and for less money. You can pick up Okami, one of the most visually striking games on the Wii for £12 in Asda at the moment.

The big problem the Wii has is a lacck of quality output. Companies are taking advantage of the fact that the Wii has a lot of new gamers that will see a brand name they know, see that it's maybe £20, buy it and when they et home find out that it's it's utter rubbish. If you do have a Wii just do a bit of research to find out if that new game that ou've seen on offer on the web is actually any good.

Please don't take offence to anything I've said. I just get annoyed at games companies continuously making utter rubbish for the Wii. And like I said, it's a good find, just a shame it couldn't be a better game.

Good find, the cheapest elsewhere is Shopto at £25, £30 in most places.

I'm afraid I agree about the Wii though. The graphics are dreadful on most games, far inferior to the Xbox or PS3. I find most games very samey - shake it, bowl it, throw it.

The games we have enjoyed most are probably Boomblox (kind of like Jenga), and Guitar Hero - currently £35 at HMV. PS2 version is now £25:

  • There is a fantastic game called World of Goo available via their online download service. It'll set you back 1500 wii points (about £12) and is well worth it. It's a quirky fun puzzler, reminds me a little of Locoroco (best game on PSP imho). It's what every game on the wii should be, fun with a healthy dose of fun on the side. Unfortunately it is only available online, so if your wii isn't connected to the web you can't access it unfortunately. It can be found under the Wiiware section. You can pick up points either via the wii online service or from the high street at the usual suspects.

Some games everyone should have for the wii - Super Mario Galaxy (3d platformer), Super Paper Mario (another platformer with some very funky touces kind of 2d/3d) and Legend of Zelda (3d RPG). And one everyone should avoid, Golden Balls, just terrible.

  • For families, you've got to add Mario Kart. I havent had as much fun with my kids for...., well probably ever! And my kids beat me EVERY time!
