My two year fixed plan has come to an end, but due to the low intrest rate i am actually paying less now i have reverted to the std variable of 3%.
I am being pestered to go back to a two year fixed, while good deals are around.Should i wait for the next intrest rise, or fix it now at around 4.2% ?
Can you advise ?
Thanks:rolleyes:

i am in exactly the same position and not sure what to do. seems silly going for fixed rate so high at the moment and also having to pay ridiculous fees on top of that.
we got 100% 3 yrs ago and have only apid about 2% off so don't have much choice any way.
i think we may ride it out for a few months and see what happens - try and over pay as much as poss and get the mortgage down whilst interest is so low.
it is a hard decision as i reckon interest rates will go sky high after this!0 -
