Hi guys
I'm a long time reader but with only a couple of posts under my belt, so i thought i'd say hi and ask for some people's opinions.
I am trying hard to pay off around 15k of debt and have read loads of posts on here with great enthusiam. This really is a moneysaving haven!
Anyway - my question is in regards to weekly food shopping. I do mine at Asda or Tesco - i have no preference really. After degrading alot of my trolley's items from "finest" to cheaper brands, my weekly food bill was still circa £40. This is just for me. I did a weeks meal plan, shopped when i had eaten (so i wasn't tempted) and didn't buy anything that wasn't on my list.
Do you think this is alot? I'd imagine the answer to be yes, but i just don't know where to cut costs from?
Thanks in advance guys

Depends what kind of meals you're making?
I normally spend £25 a weekm for 2 of us. Buy some own brand things and some brand things.I know my spelling is shocking  It is alot better than it used to be though :rotfl:0 -
Hi It depends if you are eating everything or are stocking the store cupboard.
I find some weeks I spend more due to offers or running out of something.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0
