Tesco Clubcard query

Hi

A query, I hope someone can help me with.

My mum has a card as well as myself, is it possible to use the vouchers she recieves with her statement (i.e 45 extra points when you buy xxx) on my card or is it restricted to her card only.

We are trying to accumlate the points all together for the deals offers. Also she always forgets to use them, so id put them to better use. I rang the clubcard number to ask them and they said no no its only for the cardholder. Although Im not sure if that was because they frown upon such thing instead of it works?

Any ideas?

I use both my vouchers and dh's vouchers at the same time instore -and my mum & I often swap vouchers and use each others without any problems instore.

Dont know about ordering through the deals though.

Am wondering if this might change in the future as they are now putting codes on the vouchers so they can be used both instore and online -will be interesting to see how that works.

only the person with the name on the card and the cupons can use them. the person on the till should check the names some do some dont but if you want to use them for the clubcrad deals ring the clubcard number on 0800591688 and talk to them i belive you can add them to deals..

you could also join your card and your mums card so this does not happen again hope this helps (i work for tesco)

You can merge two cards into one account. Just 'phone them and they can do this straight away

Ok so if I use the extra points voucher, whose card gets the extra points. The card thats swiped or the card which is listed on the voucher??

I suspect that if its merged into one account you'd only get one statement and one set of extra points vouchers.

My fiance and I merged our accounts. We have each kept individual account numbers but now we get joint vouchers (both the clubcard vouchers and money off vouchers) which have both of our names and individual account numbers on. We wanted to merge them so that we can use the tokens for deals on things we do together and it is generally me who does she shopping.

However, technically you have to be living at the same address to be allowed to merge your cards. But whether they check this or not I don't know. I doubt it.
