Debt Arrangement Scheme (DAS)

Looking for a bit of info as to what peoples experiences of them are and whether it is the best option for me.
A quick run down of my situation is that me and my partner have £55k of debt on top of our mortgage, we have around £460 per month spare to pay creditors after completing a budget planner although this will increase after 1 year as were having to pay £395pm on mortgage arrears for 12 months.
We have around £15-20k equity in our property.
Be grateful for any advice on our situation or info on DAS in general.
