Mortgage late payment and arrears fee's

Hi
Over the last 12 months I have been unable to make a couple of payments on my mortgage, sometime I have been 2 or 3 months in arrears, Norhern Rock have charged me £25.00 and £55.00 respectively, does anyone know if I could reclaim these charges.

    I regret to say that I think it is unlikely that you will get a refund of these charges.

    Article about this point in the Times today. Mentioned Northern Rock in particular. There is talk that these charges may be deemed "unfair".
