Experian Credit Score

I was just wondering if anyone could answer a couple of questions for me,

Firstly I check my credit report with Experian but I paid for my credit score, do I get charged everytime I check my score or is it a monthly fee?

Secondly how many points does a credit search normally knock off your score? I only ask as I applied for a loan and suddenly my credit score has dived by over 300 points!

Yes everytime. Currently £5.95 to check your score. I wouldn't bother it's a gimmick IMO.

Each lender has it's own scoring system so it's hard to tell. There is no way of telling as it a confidential system to calculate a credit score.
