MicroFinance

Hi there,

I remember a few years ago of a web based company that offered a service that meant an individual could loan his/her personal money to other individuals looking for a loan, thus bypassing the banks and set their own interest rate and pay back period that was agreed betwen both parties.

What was the name of the company or website?
Does anyone know if that company and if it still exists?
And if anyone has had any experiences with them - good or bad

Cheers
