  • Hi I'm going to Egypt too in 11 sleeps :j

I got a mask and the snorkel tube thing (very technical!!) from Decathlon for about £8. But there aren't many stores so I'm not sure where you are and if there'll be one near you.

    Enjoy!!
  • Seen some in JJB today.

    Hello aj9648

When I go snorkelling, I take a fish identification dive card for the ocean/sea I'm swimming in. You can look up the fish (you've seen whilst snorkelling) in a book when you get back to dry land................or you can identify them while you're still in the middle of the sea.;)

For not much more than £5 you can buy a dive card, to enhance your snorkelling experience.

    Enjoy your snorkelling

Try and buy from somewhere that you can try the mask on first to make sure it is a good fit, if its not then it will leak! Hubby and daughter got an aquasphere set about £25 a set from a local sports shop - they were able to try on lots of different ones for the best fit. Used them in Egypt last year and we are going again in 12 weeks and then August. Our daughter is 12 and this was the first time she had a mask that fitted her properly and we couldn`t get her out of the sea.
