Had a WEM ...

to say that I've got 6 bottles of wine from a survey I did with thelondonpaper. I rang them up to claim as it wouldn't accept my password online, the bloke said that they needed my bank details  Is this right does anyone know? I didn't give them just in case. He said that he needed my bank details for proof of age.

No way would I give them my bank details

Having a bank account is no proof of age anyway so that's nonsense and the bank aren't going to tell them your age.
  • Tell them you will send a photo copy of your passport... but blank out all the important bits... if they want proof of age

He told me before I asked that he needed them for proof of age. I lost patience, told him no, & put the phone down.
