Pocket Invitations

Hi everyone,

Apologies if there is already a thread on this subject - I had a quick look but couldn't see one.


I am getting married in August and am keen to start making my invitations. I need to know whether any of you thrifty people know of any places where I could get the pocket/wallet style blank cards so that I could make my own! I have found a couple on web but they seem really expensive - £1.99 to £250 per card!

I suppose I could go to papermill or similar and get the card to make my own pockets on the inside (to provide RSVP's, hotel information, etc) but if there was a site which did these at a reasonable proce I may be lazy and just buy them! If poss I need chocolate brown.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Obviously that should say £2.50 not £250!!!!! Now that would be dear! lol!

i am looking for the same thing.

my local craftshop sells them in packs of 6 for 2 pounds.

the papermill don't have any in til next week when the wedding collection comes back in stock.

hope this help these cards are beautiful i'm using them for my engagement party.

Approx £5 for 5. So not as cheap as that local craftshop but accessible on the web. The great thing about these is you can change the ribbon to match your colours!

The site smwtyn mentioned is the cheapest in the UK for the envelopments style pocket folders (£0.89 per folder)

However, if you want all the bits (folders, plus inserts cut to size etc. and a wide range of colours to choose from), then http://cardsandpockets.com/ is a really good bet. They're based in America but shipping isn't that bad and prices start from $0.75 per pocket folder. You might get taxed when they arrive though, which would bring the overall price up.

The paper mill have got really cheap ones (£12.50 for 50 of them), but they're a different shape to the traditional pocket folders and only come in white or ivory. Still a really good deal and you can jazz them up by personalising in your colour scheme.
