Could someone please advise?
Soon to go on a DMP - have cards with Abbey and A&L (MBNA but A&L owned by Abbey).
Have an Abbey mortage that comes to the end of the fixed rate 10/10. I was assuming we will just be put onto the variable rate, but if we are on a DMP might this affect our mortage? All payments are up to date but its just one more thing I'm worrying about!
Thanks

If you stay with the same lender and aren't looking to borrow extra, they won't carry out any credit checks on you so it will be fine.
You would probably hit problems if you tried to swap to another lender.

Thanks, I was worried that they would be altered in some way.0
