I Agree the debate was good untill a certain person begining with "Woo" came in and starrted personaly attacking me.

I should not have bitten but I can only thenk the personal attack was down to the point about China.

Its not like you've never started a fight here for no apparent reason. If you can't take it, don't dish it out.

For the record, I would much rather have sensible conversations with everyone here, that includes you, stevie & chucky, as you have differing viewpoints however you can only resort to name calling and your defence of last resort: claiming I am !!!!!!.

So I was debating nicely with some one you have made no input in to this thread other than name calling.

Do your brain and hands lead two different lives? Also why were so many of your posts deleted looks like I am not the name caller and insult thrower.
You need to look at the man in the mirror.

Don't pretend to the simple victim here - you've got down in the trenches and slung mud with the best of them.

Anyways the point is, I'm telling you I'd much prefer a sensible discussion and all you do is have a go at me.

we need to make houses more affordable

one way of doing so imo is for each FTB to receive a gift of £10,000 towards the purchase of their first home

other countries do this so i cannot see why we cannot do so in the UK

That'd just push the price of a typical first time buyer home up by about £10K.

    i don't think it would

it would just mean FTB's would have some advantage against BTL who are looking at the same properties

What about, banks lose money on property backed CDO's , reduced funds available to lend to business and for consumer credit, people lose their jobs  Yes hilarious isn't it :rotfl:

But it was all a fractional banking and shadow banking con trick - the money was never there in the first place.
The really sad thing was major sections of the population, faced by a collapsing balance of payments and out of control government spending could think for so long that the millennium party would go on for ever.
How we all laughed at the foolish faro's, putting their nations wealth into pyramids, and the newly free Albanians getting the whole country involved in a chain letter scam.
Now we are all hot and bothered because some of the guys who started our chain letter are getting out with the spoils.
