Bailiff and council tax - advice please

Hi,
I have had a bit of a run in with a bailiff company _pale_ called Newlyn, by phone not in person. I owe council tax arrears, which I am going to try to clear tomorrow. The bailiffs have been very unhelpful and, I think, they are charging too much for fees £230 (they have never actually visited our property).
The fuller details and draft letter are on my main thread:

I have drafted a letter to send them but want to be doubly sure before I send it, any advice?
Thanks
DT

Anyone?
I would like to send the letter today, but would like some views on it first - I don't want to make a bad situation worse.
Unless...I could make bailiff baiting a new sport  hmm, could be dangerous! LB 22/2/09 Debt at LB £46216.64 Debt now £42657.28 Paid off £3559.36/£46216.64 (7%)CTax arrears paid £1341.72/£4821.85 (£3480.13) 28%:eek:Pay off £15K by Xmas '09 £3559.36/£15000 24%£1000 in 100 days £45/£10000 -

Hi
Still bumping this as I need to make sure it is accurate before I send it. On the plus side we have negotiated with our loan people to have a payment break this month so we can throw that money at the council tax.
