Getting married help

Hi

Me and my better half are looking to get married next July. Do you think that is enough time to sort everything out?

Also can anyone recommend a nice place for a wedding, we live in Stockport/South Manchester but have been looking at places like mere golf club and tatton Hall?

any advise would be great

A place for a reception (I am not sure if they have their wedding licence yet) is The Monastery in Manchester which is what it says an ex monastery. I will find the weblink and post it back later.

It is possible to organise a wedding for July (are you talking 09 or 2010?). Have a read of other postings on here and there is a sticky at the top about wedding planning which will help you.

    Hi garratt

If you go onto your Council website they should have a list of all approved wedding places - its how I found mine.

We started organising our wedding in January - were getting married in August 09 - and I've already got the dress, suits, venue, cake, photographer organised. So I would say July is definitely achivable!

    Good luck and have fun!

  • thats plenty of time, me and my OH decided last month to get married this june! so it is perfectly possible.
  • It is definitely enough time, providing the date is free for the place you want to book...
    Good luck!
