  • When I filled it in I put that I didnt use the bus, travelled by car, used the bus for other shopping, 10 to 20 minutes on frequency - it may also depend on your postcode though. In the end i changed it to my work place and that seemed to give me the free ticket

Ok looking at the questions this is what i put

I got one first time lucky. Said I walk, never use bus for anything but have considered it, go to city centre 3-4 times a week.

Good Luck everyone else :) And thanks OP!
  • Oh well - I've tried 4 scenarios and now run out of addresses to send the ticket to even if I was successful. I think Leeds is a no-go for the free tickets as it seems nigh on impossible to get one. Would've come in really useful too as I could put the £15 away towards a holiday (there's hoping!!!).

Thanks to OP though and good luck
  • Thanks Op just got 1
  • I got one but only available in

This First Group Free Bus Travel offer is open to residents of the UK, living in Aberdeen, York, Leeds, Greater Manchester, Sheffield, and Southampton only.

Thanks for your help scottishlass, but I listed the residence criteria in my original post!

Well done getting a ticket! :T

Yep I saw that afterwards but not before if that makes sense so just thought it was a little clearer(ie others may have missed it to and thats why they weren't getting tickets)

Just successfully applied for my free week of travel, starting the 8th. (Thought I'd allow some time for the voucher to be delayed being posted out just in case!;))

Thanks to the OP - fab spot!
  • Cheers OP

Is the voucher like a bus pass does anyone know? Like if its just some voucher the drivers haven't seen before there maybe an issue with use?

If it's the one I am thinking about it looks a little like a laminated big bus ticket.

Unfortunately I didn't get one but have posted the link to many friends who have to use the bus so hopefully one of them will be successful.

I didn't get one :( I'm in Leeds and ticked all the 'right' boxes.
