Microfibre cloths for the face

For those interested in the Oil Cleansing Method, or exfoliation methods, I would highly recommend trying microfibre cloths. They are amazing at getting skin squeaky clean, and really remove all traces of oil, dirt or makeup from the face.
I am using tescos value cloths - think it was 80p for 3 or something. I use these with the OCM oil, but also in the mornings, I just wet these and a quick swipe gets my face clean so saves on cleanser too..try it!

I've been using microfibre cloths for facial cleansing ever since QVC started selling them @ premium prices - I love them but resent the cost because they don't stay lovely and soft for long in my water. I've been buying on eBay for a few years.
Instead of using Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish with her muslin cloths, I use Gale Hayman cleansing gel (for face and eye makeup) from Direct Cosmetics - it lasts months and months and months - with microfibre cloths.
I haven't got the get-up-and-go to try the oil cleansing method.
Thank you for that money-saving tip, I'm just hoping that Tesco Express do the cloths because I don't have a big Tesco.

Good tip mogwai.
I use microfibre cloths to dust the tv and 'puter but never thought of using (a separate) one for face cleansing.

It is a little time consuming if you do it properly, I don't always do this every night, but remember you can do this as a weekly or twice weekly treatment to give your pores a good clean... it does leave your skin very glowy and nourished so worth a think..
Do be careful with the microfibre cloths if you use them with just water, as they can be very exfoliating!
I also use microdermabrasion scrubs but am thinking a MF cloth plus water could do the trick just as well - even more money saving as my microderm scrub (epidermx) costs me £20 a jar

QVC insist that using household microfibre to cleanse the face would be "dangerous" because the fibres are not as fine as in the facial ones. But those facial ones ("Micro Peeling" is the brand name) are designed to be used with warm/hot water only, no cleanser. I find I can happily use cheapo cloths with cleanser to ease their passage across the skin

Ah, Mogwai, we just crossed in the post
