BTL dreams go up in smoke
Comments

I only bought 3 of my 22 properties before 2003.
We have recently bought 2 houses.
I still think there is good investments out there it just takes a lot more finding and being more selective.
Its also nearly impossible to get a decent mortgage deal
So deposits have to be bigger and the choice between mortgage companies is very limited at the moment.0 -
since BTL often depends on leverage via mortgages the power of compounding interest can blow holes in some peoples investments when the projected average price rises dont keep pace with average salary increases. would be interested to know what the BTL especially cleaver think of my back of fag packet (since i dont smoke and am not great at maths i used an online calculator-link on my post) calculations on another thread about house prices today.
cleaver - i thought you were a old geezer seeing some of your earlier knowledgeable posts but good to know you are a young knowledgable geezer instead :beer:bubblesmoney :hello:0
