Well done callansdad and what an inspirational post. Hope your aunt makes a full recovery and can find the strength to give up.
The site I mention in my previous post has people in similar situations to yourself. If you want information, advice or just understanding it might be worth a look.

Giving up is 80% willpower and support, 10% habit.
I gave up six years ago, take one day at a time, your brain tells you that you should be doing something with your hands. I bought myself a colouring book and some felts, everytime i wanted a fag i would colour in- making my hands busy.
Break that hand to mouth habit and you're halfway there. Not only will you have extra money in your pocket you'll also have bags more energy, plus it will be a major health benefit. Iv'e seen the effects smoking has on the body and it's not pretty.
Stick to it, try to keep busy so you won't have time to think about cigarettes and good luck!!Pole Dancer In Training :rotfl::rotfl:

Maybe this had already been suggested. But what about Alan Carrs easyway to stop smoking? I read that book and I've been off the cigs for two days and i haven't had one pang to have one, nor have i felt any withdrawel. There isn't actually a massive withdrawel to nicotine anyway, its all an illusion.
Honestly, go get that book. Or go to one of Alan Carrs clinic. The clinics cost £200 for a day session. If you dont give up by the time you've left the clinic they will continue to give you further sessions. Then if you still dont give up they will refund the money you spent in the first place.
Could be the best £200 you've spent.
If you want to know where the nearest easyway clinic is then send me a PM with where you live roughly and ill give you the phone numbers and addresses that i have in my book.
Also there is a special offer on the alan carr book at tesco's online.
