Nearly debt free only 2 to go. NEED HELP WITH CCJ

Ok over the last 2 years I have over half my debt cleared. I now owe £4700 to HSBC and £660 to Nat West and that’s it. They are in an agreement and i'm happy with that.

I am now a Taxi Driver and I am after getting a minibus to expand what I can do.

The big problem I have is a CCJ on my file. I seen I owed Bolton County Court £146 on my last credit report a few years ago from 2005 but never realised it was a CCJ.

I never received any court letters off them or a summons. Surely they can’t issue you a CCJ without contact from you. Also I would have thought they would have chased me with bailiffs or something for the money I apparently owe.

I have written them a letter asking for all the info they have but have received nothing yet. They don’t really seamed bothered to help. Someone I pay mentioned applying to the court to have the Judgement set aside but the application costs £75 and it’s not 100%.

Can anyone help me?

If I pay off the debt so its down as settled on my credit file and I get the judgement set aside will I be able to claim the money back or would paying it be worse.

I’m trying anything to get my credit score as high as I can.

I'm afraid I have no experience of CCJ's -actually, I'll re-phrase that, sorry I have no experience of ccj's
