Free Which? Guide to Digital Cameras

This was advertised in today's Metro:

Call 0800 389 6519, quoting reference CAMFREE14 to get a free copy of the Which? Digital Camera Guide, which should be received within 7-10 days.

A word of warning though... they will try to sign you up for a free trial of Which? magazine - you will get the December and January issues free, along with a free PDA. No payments will be taken before Feb 1st 2005, so as long as you cancel the subscription and your direct debit before then, it's all free. I have taken the Which? free trial before and cancelled without any problems, so hope it goes smoothly this time too.

Hi Guys,

I saw this offer in the Times today (for the free digital camera guide) and signed up for the free month's trial of the magazine. Was your trial a success and do you really get to keep the PDA if you cancel at no cost to yourself!?!? What model of PDA is it anyhow, is it any good?

Sounds to good to be true .... which these things normally are!

I'd really appreciate you letting us know how it turned out.

I'm sorry to say that I have signed up three times with Which for their freetrials and gifts.To Date,a wind up radio, a discman and a set of garden tools. No problem cancelling at all.

Signed up today , was promised no money will be taken so long as i ring and cancel by May 1st. PDA and mags will be mine to keep, we'll see what happens !

I even forgot to cancel once, unaware that I'd subscribed to computing Which? and Gardening and so on. Full refund given ! The only snag is their reviews aren't that technical.
