I had to show you all these, they are absolutely beautiful and perfect.

Soblivion has been a fantastic friend to me in the last few months, she has really helped me out in more ways than she could ever imagine. Last week she asked me for my address so she could send me a gift, this is what I have recieved from her to cheer me up...

Came out of this beautiful bag ..... I am gobsmacked at how pretty and unusual it is, I will be slapping my SIL's hands cause I know she will be trying to steal it!! The pictures do it no justice I am afraid!

Rusty you are so welcome, I am so glad you liked it, I was very nervous.
Rusty is a lovely lady too, she's always helpful and so friendly to everyone, she makes such lovely and thoughtful gifts for everyone else and I just really thought she could do with a bit of cheering and a smile at the moment.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments, the bag is made from 2 DVD's and a bit of crochet so if Rusty gets fed up of it she can cut it apart and watch a movie though I'm not sure they're very good movies :rotfl:

The handle is a piece of car washer pipe, the chap in the auto shop asked how much and how wide, I said 'I don't care I need it for a handbag handle', he was just roaring with laughter, he said he'll never get asked that again in his lifetime. LOL

I really had loads of fun doing it all, so it was so very good for me too. It's lovely to craft for someone who likes handcrafted. Thanks to you too Rusty.

Rusty won't get fed up of it, I can't wait to show it off to my MIL and SIL's they are bag fanatics and will hate that I have something that they dont :rotfl: Thankyou very much I love it all and you are lovely xx

Well MIL has just been over to visit, and I showed her my bag ... she loved it and complained that she cannot crochet and asked if she could borrow it sometime :rotfl:
