  • We had the QVC one - paid about £40 in a sale. The kids loved it - drove us crazy. A few weeks ago very dear friends had young grandson to stay so we very kindly offered this wonderful toy that our children had grown out of to keep him amused during his stay. Young grandson loved it - friendship seems to have cooled somewhat!
  • Can anyone tell me how good the actual game is? How good are the graphics, etc?

I have a 4 year old son who loves to play games like Mario Kart. Is he likely to like this?

    Thanks.

It's a great deal - but it runs on batteries (D batteries), which could make it an expensive hobby. Depends how much the batteries are and how long they last, I guess.
recharger and the batteries about £25

worth it in the long run!

Stock in Warrington (Cockhedge Centre) for those after one in the North west.I thought about one for my three year old but when you click on the "See larger image" option on the Argos website the graphics don't look that good to me :(
  • you can use mains adapters on them I think.
I borrowed one from a toy library once and it ran on an adapter.
My kids loved it. It vibrates etc, to give the feeling of a real motorbike!

  • i managed to get one - last one in the area so i was told when i called to get it replaced as the backrest was ,mising form the box .........

I'm not that sorry really its going back & i'm have a refund - I don't think it's worth the money i paid £30 never mind the original price!

Although i haven't seen it 'working' but the screen is preprinted with a 'cardboard cutout' motorbike which i presume is steered by the child as the scenery rolls by - reminds me of the fisher price wind up tv.

back to the drawing board for DS 3rd birthday pressy
