Abbey mortgage - T&C's

Hopefully someone can help. We are trying to move house at the moment, but struggling to get a new mortgage because abbey value our house quite low. We are currently on their svr of (i think) 4.69%. If we move house, the LTV of the new house would be approx 84%.
Now I dont want to discuss a new mortgage until we move, as with their low vluation, we can only get really high rates.
I just wanted to know if you could port a svr mortgage. I have asked previously, and since tried to check my t&C's but cannot find anything about it. When I spoke to the abbet, they said it wasnt portable and i should take out products x,y and z with them.
It was portable when we got it, so i thought it should be portable for the life of it?
Is anyone aware of their t&c's that may be able to help. On mine it says to check my little booklet, but i cant see anything..
finally, i have been looking for 85% mortgages and yorkshire building society come sup on the search engines like the fsa one, but i cant find any info on their website?
any help would be great
