I've just given up cardmaking sadly but I hope you have alot of fun, it's great if you have alot of time on your hands...I got rid of most of my links but my highly recommended is...
    http://www.3dsheets.tripod.com/index.html :T

she has some fantastic 3d sheet designs (decoupage)
I also found going to photobucket and just do a search for 3d sheets or decoupage (try both under different searches) you get alot that way.

Also do a search for free digital scrapbooking, again you can print loads of paper embellisments that look great.

Things can get out of hand when buying stuff for cardmaking, I thought it was a cheap hobby until I became an addict :rotfl: , always look on Ebay for cardmaking clearouts, joblots etc....that's where I sold all my stuff and its a buyers market not a sellers so you could get some great bargins.
Last tip, always look at the cardmaking and scrapbooking magazines you can get some great freebies on those

    Good luck

just thought of a couple more tips lol,

check the inside of all your clothes, you will find the little bits of ribbon (for hanging clothes) chop them out, we hardley ever use them and ribbon is a great embellishment.

Never throw an item of clothing without thinking whether you could use the material, take off all the buttons etc.

Alot of shops that sell paint do paint testers...I mean the card ones, I think it was the dulux website I ordered a few colours and the were a little smaller than A5...great for matting and layering....it's the same for material supplies, you can normally ask them for samples and material is lovely on a handmade card....

That's it for now...I think lol

  • I get wallpaper samples from Homebase, Wilkinsons etc and use them for matting and layering.
